The 'Wee Anchor' is an air-conditioned, tastefully decorated two bedroom cottage located next to the main house. Although compact, each bedroom has a queen bed, comfy linens and extra pillows, dressers, closets for storage and luggage racks. The large sunny living room is perfect for groups and houses a large TV with satellite service, a VCR/DVD player, movies, games and books, and dining area. |
| The living room sofa folds out into a queen size bed, and an available queen air mattress allows the cottage to sleep up to eight people. The kitchen is efficient, and furnished with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, dishes, utensils (including wine and bottle openers), pots and pans, and a coffee pot. |
"The spacious, comfortable privacy of the cottage provides the perfect retreat for a busy family. On a cold winter weekend I devoured books from your varied library while the children perused your generous file of movies while munching fresh popcorn from the microwave.

The cottage has a full bath, with an ample supply of towels, soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Cotton spa robes are also provided for each guest.
Adjacent to the front door of the cottage is a private courtyard, complete with a table, umbrella and chairs. A gas grill is also available. |
Rental of the ‘Wee’ is easy. We empty the trash, check the toilet paper, and make the beds! You bring any food and condiments you may like and your personal luggage. Don't worry if you've forgotten a hair dryer or need to iron that favorite shirt. We have extra hair dryers, irons & ironing boards, umbrellas, beach towels, lap blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. |
